Hi, I'm Wendy.

I've been there.
After decades of building businesses, serving in nonprofit leadership, creating systems, solving problems, and helping organizations work more effectively, I realized something that changed how I approach leadership:
Most people don't need someone to rescue them.
They need someone who can help them see clearly, tell them the truth, advocate for them, and walk alongside them while they figure out what comes next. That's the work I love.
I'm direct. I care deeply. I ask hard questions. I believe systems create freedom, accountability is an act of care, and growth happens when people have the space and support to move forward intentionally.
And yes, I absolutely get into the actual work with my clients.

I believe clarity creates momentum and good ideas only matter if you can put them into practice. My job isn't to hand you a template or tell you what worked for someone else. It's to help you uncover what works for you, build the structure to support it, and create a path forward that feels both intentional and doable.
Truth + Directness
I believe honest conversations create better leaders and stronger organizations. I'll tell you the truth, ask the hard questions, and advocate for you fiercely. Accountability isn't judgment. It's support.
Growth + Momentum
I believe people do their best work when they have space, support, and confidence. Growth isn't about hustle or perfection. It's about creating sustainable momentum and moving forward with intention.
I also believe our work should be inclusive, equitable, and deeply human. I work best with people who value respect, curiosity, compassion, and creating spaces where everyone belongs. Leadership is serious work, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the journey.
Boss Level: Engaged isn’t for everyone…and that's intentional.
The best work happens when there's honesty, trust, accountability, mutual respect, and a willingness to do the work.

A little more about Wendy:
Believe it or not, I originally planned to become a meteorologist. I love storms and was convinced weather would be my life's work…until physics had other ideas.
More than 26 years ago, I started my first business and discovered what would become a lifelong obsession: understanding how people, organizations, and systems work together. After a brief stop in corporate IT and more than two decades running a successful business in the wedding and events industry, I found myself doing what I've always loved most: helping passionate people get organized, gain clarity, and move meaningful work forward.
Along the way, I became deeply involved in nonprofit leadership, serving on boards, leading committees, building systems, facilitating difficult conversations, and helping organizations create structure and momentum.
Looking back, the thread connecting all of it is pretty obvious: I've always loved helping people get their stuff together.
Today, that's exactly what I do through Boss Level: Engaged.
